DALLAS, November 6, 2018 – J. Waylon & Associates (JWA), a Dallas-based public relations, brand development and advertising agency, has acquired Preston Mitchell to serve as an Associate Publicist.
For the past three years, Mr. Mitchell has spearheaded communications teams and projects throughout Central California, Southwest Florida and his college home of North Texas. As a liaison for JWA clientele, he will oversee the press, content creation and language of targeted media campaigns while assisting the JWA creative team in its continuous growth.

Mr. Mitchell first made his mark in the Dallas/Fort Worth scene as North Texas Daily’s Opinion Editor from July 2016 to Aug. 2017. This provided him the opportunity to editorialize the interests and issues of a student body, its educators and the local politicians affecting them. His other work has been published by Dallas Observer and the AmeriCorps volunteer program.
Mr. Mitchell is a humanities and marketing graduate of the University of North Texas, currently residing in Dallas, TX.
