May 12th at Sammons Park was a spectacle of celebrities, live music and tasty concoctions for the 11th annual TACA Lexus Party on the Green, celebrating the non-profit’s 50th Anniversary.

Celebrity Chef Jeffrey Kollinger joined other culinary heavyweights Dean Fearing (Fearing’s), John Tesar (Knife Dallas) and Tom Parlo (Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek) to take over the AT&T Performing Arts Center for an evening of micro plates and libations.

Kollinger, sponsored by Diane & Hal Brierley, served Grilled Texas Quail on a bed of dirty rice grits, topped with lemon beurre blanc baby salad and pomegranate pinot noir. The plate was a spin of the fan favorite dish served at Kollinger’s restaurant, Tillman’s Roadhouse in Bishop Arts.

Lovingly referred to as “Cheffrey” by close friends, Jeffrey took some time to catch up with LeeAnne Locken of the Real Housewives of Dallas, and entertainment personality Steve Kemble. WFAA News 8 Daybreak co-anchor Ron Corning stopped in to capture Facebook Live video to share Kollinger’s dish with his followers.
